Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
Title: Full-Time Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for new Independent Pharmacy (Hesperia)
New Independent Pharmacy opening in Hesperia is looking for a friendly and experienced pharmacist in charge (PIC). Experienced pharmacist in charge must be available throughout the application process and continue to work as the full-time pharmacist in charge.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Must have a valid California State Board of Pharmacy License
- Knowledge working in or with a start-up Independent Pharmacy
- Friendly, outgoing, and personable; please enjoy working with colleagues and the general public
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and staff
- Must have knowledge of pharmacy laws and procedures and work in accordance with local, state, federal, and company regulations
- Must have 4+ years of experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking (fluently read, write & speak)
- Compounding experience (sterile and non-sterile; primarily making capsules, creams, lozenges/troches, suppositories)
- Oversee technicians’ responsibilities (Their knowledge of the top 200 drugs (brand/generic/use). Ability to read and fill prescriptions accurately. Fast and accurate drug counting skills. Ability to package medications, label medications, and mail prescriptions. Accuracy in Third party insurance billing and troubleshooting, ability to maintain all related records, logs, and any other related files, and check the pharmacy for accuracy in restocking)

Pharmacy Technician
Title: Full-time experienced pharmacy technician for New Independent Pharmacy (Hesperia)
New Independent Pharmacy opening in Hesperia is looking for a friendly and experienced pharmacy technician. Must have a valid California pharmacy technician certification.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Must have a valid California pharmacy license as a pharmacy technician
- Spanish speaking (fluently read, write & speak)
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and staff
- 3+ years of experience
- Knowledge of the top 200 drugs (brand/generic/use)
- Ability to read prescriptions accurately
- Fast and accurate drug counting skills for technician
- Fill prescription orders (under the supervision of the pharmacist)
- Responsible for packaging medications, labeling medications, and mailing prescriptions
- Fast typist (over 40 wpm)
- Third party insurance billing experience and troubleshooting
- Responsible for maintaining all related records, logs, and any other related files as determined by the pharmacy management
- Restock the pharmacy on an as needed basis
- Must have knowledge of pharmacy laws and procedures and work in accordance with local, state, federal, and company regulations
Desired Qualifications:
